Kimiya Yoshikawa&Hsiao-Chi Tsai
Artist
Tsai Hsiao-Chi, born 1981, Hsinchu, Taiwan. Kimiya Yoshikawa, born 1980, Tokoname, Japan. After completing their studies at the Royal College of Art in 2006, they began collaborating with Tsai Hsiao-chi from Taiwan in textiles and Kimino Yoshikawa from Tokoname, Aichi, Japan, in sculpture. They have held numerous commissions and exhibitions in Europe, South East Asia and elsewhere, including futuristic flowers, which decorated seven show windows of Harvey Nichols in 2007. In November 2016, two 27-metre mobile sculptures were installed at St Thomas' Hospital in front of the Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London. They continue to present their work nationally and internationally.
